'New! We are blessed to welcome two fabulous musicians from Armenia, Tigran Aleksanyan and Ara Petrosyan playing duduk and dehol, to the Sacred Dance Festival, to accompany our guest teacher Shakeh Major Tchilingirian. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I am sure the exquisite and haunting sound of the duduk will open everyone's hearts when they play for us to dance on the Thursday evening of the Festival. Please also note, the orchestra this year will be focalised by Maya Buckley, a gifted musician and conductor who frequently plays for circle dance and folk dance events throughout the UK and regularly leads scratch orchestra workshops for the Society for International Folk Dance.
