Carol Christ was a brilliant feminist thealogian, Goddess scholar, and foremother of the Women's Spirituality Movement. She was also my  beloved mentor and longtime friend. For over 20 years, she led the Goddess Pilgrimage to Crete, introducing over 600 women to the sacred sites of the Bronze Age civilizations which loved art, life, nature, music, dance, and the Goddess. Carol passed to the realm of the ancestors on July 14, 2021. In accordance with her wishes, I am the new Director of her nonprofit foundation, the Ariadne Institute for the Study of Myth and Ritual, and will continue to lead the Goddess Pilgrimage following in Carol's footsteps, with the support of experienced tour co-leaders Mika Scott and Christina Nevans. Kostantis and I are also working to create the Carol P. Christ Memorial Library and Study Centre here in Greece, to provide a permanent home for her astounding collection of books and make them available for the benefit of visiting scholars.
