For 15 years, Kostantis Kourmadias and Nikolas Angelopoulos have provided exquisite live music to accompany our seminars in Greece, Europe and the UK. This very special event will allow us to enjoy some of our favourite Greek, Armenian and Bulgarian dances to live music! Because of the lockdown, Nikolas will be in his home and we will be in ours, so we can not play as an ensemble. In the first session (Saturday), we will dance a few dances to recordings from our CDs, so that we can enjoy the sound of us all playing together, and for the rest of the evening Nikolas will play solo lafta, Kostantis will play violin and saz, with percussion and singing from Laura. We will also present a short illustrated talk on the Healing Power of the Saz. In the shorter second session (Sunday), we will repeat some dances with CDs and then all of them with live music, so that by the end we can simply dance them through without the need for teaching.

We will dance the following dances: Hora la Galana, Syrtos Tourna, Tsámikos Yiatrissa, Offering Govand, Sta Tria Miliás, Sta Tria Ráhis, Ola ta Poulákia, Syrtos Sta Tria (Dance of the Nymphs), Issos Bratsera, Keesher Bar, Glava Li Ta Boli, Alatsata, Jeni Jol. The dances are simple and the event is open to everyone.
